All admission and waitlist timing are managed and operated through the Toronto Central Home and Community Support Services (HCCSS). To apply to our home you, or someone on your behalf, must complete a placement application form, after which a Care Coordinator will be assigned to conduct an assessment to determine your eligibility for long-term care. Once a spot becomes available you will be contacted by your Care Coordinator and will have 24 hours to consent to the admission. For more information, contact Home and Community Care Support Services at 310-2222 (no area code required).
Wait times vary depending on your individual situation. Ivan Franko Home has no control or influence over the waitlist.
Although the Ministry of Long-Term Care pays for the care you receive, you are responsible for accommodation costs, which are standard across Ontario.
Rates are typically reviewed annually by the Ministry. Current rates

If you do not have enough annual income to pay for the basic room, the government can help you through a subsidy that will bring the cost down to a level you can afford. The subsidy is not available to people requesting private rooms.
