There are so many ways to get involved in The Ukrainian Heritage Centre: become a volunteer, patron, sponsor, teacher or student, we will be grateful for any support.
Our donors and patrons generously donate their family heirlooms and/or their time to make our museum a cultural and historical destination for all travelers. In return for their kindness, our partners and friends not only have the right to promote on our website and social media, but also have access to our private collections, exhibitions and networking opportunities. Join our team to explore and become involved NOW!

The IFH Ukrainian Heritage Centre is part of the IFH, a not-for-profit organization that was incorporated in 1957. For the past 60 years Ivan Franko Homes have been collecting items from donors in Canada and Ukraine. Our huge collections of embroidered towels “rushnyky”, pillows, shirts and blouses, pysanky, flower wreaths and other family heirlooms were mostly donated by the Ukrainian community in Ontario.

We would like to invite everyone to learn more about their background, Ukrainian history and heritage. Ukrainian culture is so rich in household traditions and it is very interesting to learn our native customs and where they come from. Ivan Franko Home’s library includes historical, cultural and modern books. The comfortable reading area brings you to Taras Shevchenko’s garden or the Carpathian Mountains of Lesia Ukrainka. If you would like to take a break there is a billiard table available for IFH’s residents and guests. If you require any assistance please make an appointment with the librarian by calling 905-820- 0573.
