SENIORS' RESIDENCE

Our beautiful three-storey senior residence in Mississauga features exclusive rental units, convenient services and casual amenities. Perfect for active and semi-retired seniors seeking a vibrant community of welcoming neighbours, the 68-unit facility is located on the ten acre Campus of Care facility featuring lanscaped gardens and fruit trees, yet conveniently located near shopping and restaurants in Mississauga and Oakville.

Housing options include a range of attractive accommodations in different layouts and sizes to meet all needs, including bachelor, one-bedroom, one-and-a-half, and two-bedrooms apartments. All of our suites feature views of the Mississauga skyline and our gardens, and come equipped with full kitchens and balconies/patio.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants for residency at Ivan Franko Homes must be 65 years of age or older and need to complete an Application for Admission form, downloadable from our website. Applicants are then invited for an initial interview and tour of the Home (this may happen in person, virtually, or over the phone) to discuss the appropriate residence care package.
Our residence care packages are designed to cover all the aspects of senior living. They include heating, electricity and water; a four-piece private bathroom; access to the services of the Homes’ Physician; 24/7 supervision and emergency response program in every resident room; daily recreational, social and cultural activities; and access to all Ivan Franko Homes amenities.
Package costs vary according to the type of residence selected and the level of services required. Services available include: meals, snacks, housekeeping, laundry, assistance with weekly bath/shower, health and medication monitoring, assistance with personal hygiene, help with dressing, etc..
Once an apartment becomes available, the applicant is contacted by our Care Coordinator.
Wait times may vary according to the type of residence accommodation selected.
All applicants are considered in chronological order of application submission.

Bachelor Apartment (appr. 400 sq.ft.)

This simple and charming bachelor apartment is designed to meet your daily needs for convenience and comfort, with essentials like a full kitchen with a fridge and stove. You will also find a few life-enhancing extras to make your everyday living experience just a bit more interesting, like a private balcony or patio with space for a mini potted garden or a patio set. Washrooms feature a bathtub with shower or walk-in at an additional cost, furnished with safety grab bars for resident’s comfort. All apartments in the building are equipped with an alarm system that is supervised by our staff 24 hours a day.
