My mom expresses the gratitude for the many nurses, cooks, cleaners , physiotherapist, social co ordinater (Mary) and the volunteers and the priest. She mentions the medical students sharing about their cultures  their mother country and the ever flowing cultural events she engages in and enjoys. She benefits immensely from the excises, walks, good food and social interactions. I appreciate so much, as does my family, the exceptional care she receives at Ivan Franko Home. We are truly blessed to have Ivan Franko as her residence.

"My mother Pauline B. has been a resident of the Ivan Franko Long Term Care Home on Royal York for almost a year. The quality of care that my mother is receiving has been excellent. The doctor, nursing staff as well as the PSW’s keep in touch with me on a regular basis. The PSW’s are very professional, kind, and compassionate to my mother as well as the other residents. They are always accommodating to the needs of the resident as well as the family. The home is very clean, nicely decorated and provides a homey atmosphere. The menu is very tasty and well balanced according to the dietary needs of each resident. There are a variety of  activities provided for the residents including those that suffer with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
I can only give positive feedback about this home and I am pleased with the excellent quality of care that my mother is receiving."

"Thank you for the invitation to the function on Wednesday ... (as) I have told you before ...I have been pleased with everything about IFH RY since Olga arrived 15 months ago.
I met the lady sitting next to me for the first time, and as we exchanged pleasantries and without any prompting, she echoed what I have told you, that she like I, is very pleased with her mother's care and has no complaints.
We both expressed our hopes that when you almost double your size in the new location that you will be able to replicate the sense of family and level of compassionate care that you have provided at this location.
I would like to wholeheartedly support MPP Hogarth's acknowledgement of and gratitude to the large group of happy PSW's and housekeeping staff at the back of the room !!! They provide 24/7 care for our most vulnerable with warmth and compassion. It was an excellent idea to have them there.
